According to some "experts" the mayan calendar wasn't predicting the end of the world but the return of the old gods. Extraterrestrial beings no less!
The final episode of the x-files also tells us that the aliens final invasion will occur in 2012!
My god the evidence is all there, tin foil hats on stand by! |

Well, I've always been fond of Warhammer so I'm hoping they are going to be making a game very similar to the total war series. It is certainly a game I've always wanted to play. |

Best of luck with the business mate, I'm sure with those painting skills you should have a good chance of making it work. |

I do tend to agree that although the picture of total war in the background is nice it does tend to make things a little confusing on the eye to people who are new to the site and the different coloured names are difficult to read.
I think a solid colour behind the text would help, I remember when I first logged on to the CA site I found it quite confusing at first and it was off putting as I was a new pc gamer at the time. I found the site initially rather difficult to navigate.
I think it is sensible to make the site as inviting and easy to use as possible in order for it to become popular with all the CA members now and in the future. |

Windows 7 Home Premium, Service pack 1. 64 bit Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30 GHz 3.60 GHz 8.00 GB (RAM)
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3
AMD Radeon HD 6950 graphics card.
Zalman case with 4 case fans and a thermaltake cooler.
Problem message "AMD driver has stopped working and has recovered"
Seriously considering getting a nvidia card!
The problem seems to raise it's ugly head when I change graphical settings in games, though this may be coincidental it is the strongest link I've had to the problem occuring.
The screen will be flecked with different coloured squares and freeze for several seconds before going black and coming back on with the message above. These breaks can vary in length.
Eventually after several days or weeks it will happen and not recover becoming stuck in an endless rotation of flecked coloured blocks on screen before it goes black, flecked coloured blocks, black etc.
At this point I have to do a full system reinstallation. After the first few times I eventually remembered to save all my important files to my secondary hard drive and not the solid state drive my operating system was installed on.
I have googled on the subject understanding a little of what I have discovered but the majority is beyond my limited understanding. I have a local friend that has helped me with reinstallations of windows and he has done stress tests to the graphics card and other tests to see if there are any hardware faults with my pc but everything checked out ok.
All drivers were reinstalled with latest versions.
I can't send it back to the people who built it without accumulating a £40 transit cost and if they don't find a hardware fault I get charged another £80 aswell, quite irritating.
I will post a dx diag if needed. |

I was wondering if anyone else had any interest in this game.
I used to play a little mount and blade but it seemed a little difficult to get into and subsequently didn't play it for long online.
This new game seems like it could be fun played as a team.
Considering buying it if other members are also thinking of getting it. |

I was on shogun 2 and was wondering where the new clan is as I've had no invite. I checked the steam group status and every one is either online (green)or offline (red), my status says error (yellow). What does this mean?
I was keen to join the clan and get my shogun skills back up to scratch. |

Thanks everyone,
I've played BF2/vietnam on xbox and really like them, never part of a proper team very often though and those games really need the team work. Enjoyed being the engineer best and medic second so if you need these roles filling I'm your man! I don't need to rack up the kills, though handy with the mines so get a few that way. Waiting for battlefield 3, call of duty never appealed to me much.
Also, what's happening on the shogun 2 clan front? Is the new clan up and running yet after the break from tetsu fu? I'm waiting to get stuck back into that after having had a long break from it, waiting for the patch to get rid of the loansword spams and meatshield fiends. I was hooked until these trends started up.
looking forward to hopefully catching some games with you guys.
Cheers |
