Embassy or alliance, I considered it the same thing. My apologies for the mistake. Fact is we deleted the embassy and don't see the need to have this one maintained.
Soulfly, I never hacked and never will. Your accusations are unfounded really. Think what you want, because I know (and plenty other people for that fact) I don't need nor want to use hack or cheat tools. And now you actually tell me you need the help of another clan to deliver the evidence? This is getting better by the minute. It seems you can't even remember the website where you saw my supposed hacking activities. You refer to not having access to that information anymore, so I think you are referring to PBBans or GGC. Well, my clan has access to both and these guys are known to be very skilled at tracking down hackers and cheaters. I applied for streaming status there and they asked for my PB GUID. These guys know where to check and I came up clean. ACI also doesn't show anything, so I don't know what you're talking about. Do you have any idea how ridiculous your motivation sounds? The fact is your accusations are based on nothing, otherwise you would have presented it already.
We don't deserve the name Celtic Alliance? Ah, now we are getting somewhere. Our CO came up with that name, not me. It was a name she came up with a long time ago and thought it sounded okay because she's Scottish. There are plenty of clans with the same name btw, there are 4 or 5 75th Ranger Regiments for instance. I don't see those clans bickering about it. You know what I think? I think this whole crap is about the name our clan carries. Your comment about we don't deserve the name shows that. Do you own the rights to the name? I don't think so. I also vouch for each and every member in our clan as honest and clean players. Everybody who played with us will say so.
You hope nobody will mix up our clans? I hope so too, because I don't wanna be compared with a clan leader who yells stuff and doesn't show evidence to back up his statements, or needs the help of another clan to show evidence that surely isn't there. I understand my tone in my previous message wasn't that great, and that I sound rather persistent now, but I don't like being accused of things I never even did.
@JudgeDead: I agree PB doesn't capture them all. Everybody knows that. I can tell you PBBans Hub updates live, and those who've been caught only 1 minute before they join our server are not even allowed to join the server. I can show server logs that will prove this.
Also, you guys have never even played with any of my clan mates, or me. So, I don't really get how you guys can be so sure I am a hacker or a cheater. So yeah, go ask that other clan to help you out if that's what you are so determined to do. I know I always played fair and never used any of that shit, and what you guys think is up to you.
Also, I will not post here anymore because I don't wanna make matters more worse than they already are.
Goodbye. |

I'd like to ask you guys to remove my forum account and the alliance forum you have created for us some time ago. As we speak we are also removing your alliance forum and user accounts on our forums.
To be blunt, the accusation of me having several linked hack accounts by one of your senior members while not even one shred of evidence has been presented, and even messages of our CO have gone unanswered, I (and my fellow clan mates) see no other option than to cease the alliance with this clan. We are known to not accuse anyone without proper evidence, and I suggest your clan does the same thing.
The truth is I have never hacked, and claiming such things without showing proper evidence of this fact in my opinion doesn't show much professionalism. We have a ranked server that streams to PBBans, GGC and ACI, and I can play on our own and all other servers out there that are running anti-cheat software without being kicked or banned. What I dislike the most though is the fact one of you guys claims he can show the evidence and is so full of it when he says so, but fails to show anything and even fails to respond to our CO. That dear gents is something I had never expected to happen from this clan.
Think what you think about me and my clan mates. The fact is that accusation was based on nothing, and therefore we have decided to cut all ties with your clan and ask for the immediate deletion of my account and our alliance forum. Our CO also asked me to tell you that as of now there will also be no more interest for friendly scrims with this clan. I am sorry, but that is just the way it is I'm afraid.
Sincerely,
1LT MetalGear Celtic Alliance - Alpha Company Executive Officer |

Hmm, now that is odd. How do you explain I have played on PunkBuster servers and never got banned? How do you explain I can even play on GGC streamed servers and don't even get banned there?
I have checked every website that is out there to see if I was listed, and I found nothing. Really, in all honesty I find it very very odd you claim I am listed with banned GUIDs. A GUID is only given once as far as I know, and mine isn't listed anywhere.
Are you talking about PB GUIDs are EA GUIDs? But then again, I am convinced you won't find anythinjg about me as a hacker. I am not listed anywhere as a hacker. If I had banned GUIDs every server running PunkBuster out there would ban me, would it? There is no other tool that prevents that crap, besides GGC.
Seems you are very certain of your case though, so I'd like to see the website where you found this info and to explain to me how you found this info. |

Hello, this is Catwoman again. I have just checked the latest banlist PBBans provides on its website and I found NO indication of any hacking activities of our member MetalGearSolid. I have checked for his in-game name, the PB GUID and the static IP address he is using.
I now consider this matter closed, but would still like to see the evidence that supports your accusation. Also, I am currently at MetalGearSolid's house since he's my fiancee, hence the same IP address on all these posts :)
Sincerely,

Hello, this is Catwoman - CO of the Celtic Alliance. MetalGearSolid asked me to contact you lads in person so here I am.
First of all, I can assure that NO ONE in my clan cheats, hacks or uses exploits. I consider it an insult that it's even suggested that one of my members hacks, or plays unfair.
I am not here to fight though, so allow me to present my case.
Because I wished to see if there was any truth to the statement made by Soulfly I have checked GGC. I also tried to check PBBans, but somehow the website is currently not working for me. Not on my computer and not on mobile.
The GGC search came up empty. Yes, I found a reference to his nickname, but that was it. I then checked an account that was caught hacking and found again a reference to nikcnames, but also a reference to a Violation (AIMBOT). The search I performed on MetalGearSolid's account did not reveal any violations however.
May I also add MetalGearSolid hardly played over the past months, and only recently started playing more.
So I am sure the PBBans search will come up empty as well. Whatever happened during your checks, I suggest you redo your checks and present to me the evidence you have found during your previous check.
Keep in mind I watched MetalGearSolid hop on several servers with PunkBuster just now and on none of them he got banned.
His in-game name is MetalGear1971. His GUID is 862affccde5b4f6e68a33d06d84a7488. I obtained this GUID from our own Ranked server, running PunkBuster.
Feel free to check this info again, and I'm sure you will find he has never hacked and will never hack. |

First of, thank you for accusing me of hacking. As I told Soulfly in my PM to him, did you actually check the right name? My BF3 account name is MetalGear1971.
I run a Ranked server WITH PunkBuster and I played on several other servers running PB, and got banned nowhere. I'm sorry, but what gave anyone here the right to say I am hacking? I never hacked and I never will.
Enough said. |

I know it's been a long time since I've visited, so how's everybody doing here?
I'm somewhat happy to announce our clan has taken a different course recently, because of the ever declining number of Americas Army players we have made the switch to Battlefield 2, in preparation for yet another switch to Battlefield 3 when it comes out.
Because of this we got ourselves a ranked Battlefield 2 server, but as you know at least 6 players are needed before stats are recorded and therefore I'm now informing clans we have connections with (and who play Battlefield 2) we have switched and ask them if they are interested to set up some games with us.
If you guys are interested to play on our ranked server some time please let me know. I will then set up some dates and times for us to hang out on our ranked server. |

I for one can't wait for BF3. Our clan is actually thinking of switching to that game because it offers us more than AA2 does. I'm particularly excited about the Frostbite 2 engine, because shooting at everything and destroying it is just amazing to experience :)
I also personally prefer the BF2 and BF3 series of games over the BC ones, because I like games of a somewhat more serious tone. I found the series of BC games more of a gimmick, and that's not too much to my liking.
I do hope though BF3 will not turn out to be yet another CoD clone with all these unrealistic perks and such, because I liked BF2 because of its more realistic character. CoD, while a fun game to play, the online play is just too unrealistic for me. Run and gun, nuclear strikes?, other perks that are making me feel like huh? You name it.
Also, the tendency of people to whine about the lack of perks nowadays is so annoying. You can hardly read anything else these days. I want this perk, I want that perk, people seem to need those to actually be interested in a game, otherwise they will just tell you it's crap. I guess that's what you get when you focus your efforts too much on kids playing such games on consoles. Just look at the ports, they're not that impressive really. Don't get me wrong, I own a PS3 myself and play on it lots, but I am still very selective to what I will and won't play on there. You won't see me on kiddie servers for instance where all they think of is run and gun and brag about the highest amount of kills, while they totally suck at team play and the essence of it.
To some all this may add to a game, but to me it just wrecks a game. There's nothing skillful about using a perk to kill a number of players, but it does take skill to do the same thing without all these perks. But then again, I'm an old school gamer and prefer playing to get better, without the use of perks and such. Others will probably think otherwise and that's fine, so just consider this as my own opinion.
In short, I am anxiously awaiting BF3 but I'm also a bit worried they might wreck some of the great things BF2 has. So yeah, I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised. Until that time I'm waiting to get my hands on some gameplay footage and maybe even a demo of some kind.
Take care lads! Cya around soon |

Hello everyone, I know it's been a while since I've been here, sorry for that. Had a bit of a reorganisation going on :)
What I would like to ask is if you guys can provide us with a clan banner? We've put up a page with links to all the clans we established friendly connections with and I'd like to include this clan as well.
Let me know alright? Take care and hopefully I can keep in touch more properly from now on. |

Hehe. It's stuff like this that makes me feel quite at home :)
We just set up an embassy for you guys on our website. Non-members can't see it because it's only visible to registered members. Those who wish to sign up may do so, and those who are already a member of our forums feel free to post some stuff in there.
I'll pass the word about you guys to the others as well, hopefully some of them will sign up here as well. |

@Soulfly: thanks for the embassy offer. Once I have confirmation of who's coming I'll let you know.
Haha, good ideas on who should get the name :)
We are using the [CA] tag btw. So, no problems there.
Also, who of you exactly joined our website? |

A few days ago one of your clan members joined our website and hereby I'm returning the favour :)
It seems our clans share the same name, Celtic Alliance, which is kind of funny. In fact we didn't even know about the existence of this clan until recently when one of your members came on our website and told us you guys are using the same name. He also asked us how we came about selecting our name, so here goes. Basically we picked the Celtic part of our name because the girl who set up our clan is from Scotland and she's really into Celtic things. The Alliance bit just had a nice sound to it as she claims, so she combined the words together and that was it
We however are not playing the games you lads are playing, so are different from this clan. And we surely are not trying to use the name you've built up to grow bigger or anything. In fact, people who will visit our website will see how much different we are from you guys. Anyway, to cut this part of my post short, the game we mostly play is Americas Army 2, but we also play Battlefield 2 and Americas Army 3, both which are however played on a pretty low scale. We're actually just starting out getting everything working and such. We're trying to be a somewhat "military" clan with ranks, medals and all that (no realism unit stuff though) - and also add jobs and duties in the mix.
Anyway, it's nice to meet you guys. We are always interested in meeting other clans. In fact the guy who joined us asked us if we were interested in some scrims. We spoke about a Battlefield 2 scrim since that's the only game we have in common, so I'm currently trying to see who wants to jump in on that. Keep in mind we are no pros though, we learn as we go, so we might not be that big of a challenge at first, haha.
Any questions or comments, just go ahead and I'll try to answer them. |
