I think what is more interesting is Chelsea lost £70 million last year and they have just spent another £50 million.
AND
The new FIFA rules state that they have to break even by 2013. Does not matter if you are owned by a billionare the business still has to ballance the books. |

I was living of 4mb for years as I live in the sticks.
Talk Talk upgraded our local exchange (before BT did) and I now have an 24mb line that consistantly delivers 18mb.
And to think years ago (many many many) I was over the moon when I got an ISDN line put in the house so i could get a 512k dial up connection
how times have changed. |

Hello CA buddies.
Not sure if anyone noticed but I have been away from WOT, BC2 abd the forums for a wee while.
I suffer from Crohns disease. There is no cure but medication can help to control the problem. Crohns is where your immune system is over stimulated and attacks healthy tissue, mainly in the small bowl. This leads to internal bleeding and ulcers / scars forming. This in turn stops your bowels from working properly.
I have had Crohns since I was a teenager and I am very lucky that the drugs I take manage the disease very well. The problems I have been having lately are due to old scars from previous operations. These scars can thicken up over time and cause my bowel to work in reverse or not work at all. Yes it hurts (a lot).
The ideal solution would be to remove these scars however there are only some many operations you can have before you end up having to be fed by tubes for the rest of your life. Crohns also attacks the sites of these operations so a few years later you end up having more surgery, catch 22.
The drugs I am now taking are working well. I have to stay on high dose steroids for a few weeks before I need to have a minor, non invasive, operation.
This means that I am not going to be on-line as much as I would like although I tend to log onto BC2 when I am feeling really crap as it helps take my mind of being ill.
I am back at work and traveling a wee bit so you may see me online in the eveings during the week.
I hope to be 100% in the new few weeks and back to my normal self. |

I have Generals and Zero hour.
Plated C&C 3 for a while but it was using my nephews copy. Might think about getting it again now the price is down to a reasonable cost. That said, I am thinking of BC2.
Not sure if there are enough hours in the day ! |

I loved 2142 but the whole patch / beta patch thing put me off.
Once the full patch is out and stable I will re-install and give it another go.
I am thinking of getting BF2 or BC2 as most of you guys seem to play that instread. |

Looks like a nice machine.
They don't sell the M1730 anymore becasue Dell bought out Alienware.
There XPS laptops are Alienware machines.
My replacment for this machine is going to set the company back about £3k |

A few people have been asking what my laptop is as I travel a lot.
Its a Dell XPS M1730 wtih intel dual core 2.8GHz processors. Graphics are dual Nvida 8800 GTX cards.
It's known as the beast and is a great laptop for CAD, 3D modeling and of course, gaming.
The down side is it's big and weighs a ton (almost). The power supply is 2kG on its own !
Here are some pictures. The small laptop is my IBM T43p CAD laptop. I will try and get a picture of it next to my ACER one netbook.
