alrighty, i've a team in this years Microsoft Imagine Cup in the software development section but are a wee bit stuck for ideas atm few we've had have either not been complicated enough or have been done is some shape or form before, such as transferring data to remote areas via radio waves, any of your ideas ends up us winning or even getting into the finals i'll give you 10% of the prize money

Interesting. So you have to actually develop working software? Or just come up with ideas and principles behind it?

Crumple it up a bit, stick it in your jeans and wash it, leave it in a puddle for a bit (hope you have water resistant ink though). Then mix it in with some other banknotes lol
