pc was running slow lauching games etc, spotted thats its only detecing 8gb of ram. how cam ram fail so quicky..... have to remove cooler etc ffs

It was definitely working up until now aye? I've had RAM die immediately before but that's it

its running better with the one stick removed. i know i should swap channels to rule out. its either that stick or mobo, will send away and get them to test and hope its that. saves removing cooler.

Hopefully it is the RAM, it'll be such a kick in the balls if you have to replace the mobo.

no mate, they were in the same colour slots, one each side. everything was fine untill other night
