I am playing Shogun 2 on Windows 8 and cannot take screenshot. I even change the default key combination and it still does not work. Could someone help me? Thanks.

Not touched W8 but I would have thought the Steam Overlay would work at lease?

xfire can be a pain, i had the problems in the past on older OS, try a reinstall of xfire, when i changed the keys it never worked again lol and had to reinstall.. theres also a xfire support forum, might be some help there

i don't bother with xfire anymore i just use steam for screenshots F12 is the default key for screenshots on steam.
