i'd recommend the site watchseries.eu for any series you wanna watch. just be sure to get the adblock extension for chrome or firefox and yer good to go. as for any movies, i mainly watch horror movies and sci-fi here and there. i'd definitely recommend the film "John Carter" and the horror movie REC and REC2. also, it is an  imperative to watch REC and REC2 while alone in the dark, you'll get scared shitless

The most recent films I've watched are:

Act Of Valor, it was,,, ok, kinda like a documentary  with less narration. Still, what can you expect when it's the US forces playing all the characters. They do use live ammo in a lot of the scenes.

John Carter, just fuckin avoid it. I turned it off when one of the "fight" scenes was little more that Carter flailing his arms around like some retarded spastic.

Prometheus.

The film has sooo many plot holes you get to the end and think, wtf was that I wasted 2 hours of my life on?

Most of the characters were wasted or just not used at all which is a shame seeing as they had a line up consisting of Guy Pearce, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Emun Elliott, Idris Elba and Noomi Rapace.

Parts of the film that you would have thought would have been a good twist went by totally unacknowledged and the plot was just too convoluted.

The special effects were good, Fassbender was awesome as David the android and Theron was great as the company bad guy (kinda like Burke from Aliens but more evil, less slimy).

There are lots of nods to the original 2 films which is cool if you've watched them as much as I have but for the average Joe Bloggs, these little details will pass them by unnoticed.

This was supposed to be Ridley Scott's big return to the Sci-Fi genre but it turned out to be more of a fizzle than a bang but this was probably down to Scott trying to rewrite the plot (lol, plot) after filming had started.

The best bits about this film were the viral trailers.

I'm one of the biggest Alien fanboys ever and was very disappointed which isn't a good sign as Scott's next venture will be Blade Runner.

Hopefully, there will be a directors cut of the film in the works which will fill in everything that was missing from the original cut like Alien 3. I know it was a different director and very different reasons for the original cut of the film sucking balls but the Directors Cut of the third Alien installment was excellent, the theatrical release was shit.

Overall 3/10

If they had called it anything other than RoboCop, I wouldn't have minded.

As it is, unoriginal moneygrab.
