Me no, but im curious about why you`re asking. Ive always wanted to change my OS to a free one but havent
taken my time to further investigate.

I'm having a problem where my wireless is running slow, from what I've read this seems to be a common problem and was wondering if anyone had found a way round it. If not then I'm going to just have to revert back to Fedora 15. From what I've seen other people say it seems to be a problem where the OS is trying to save power by allocating less to the wireless card.

As for switching to Linux I really recommend it if you're doing any sort of coding etc. but for day to day use you prob won't see any benefit from Windows, however Saspi if you want to try it without installing it on your HDD you can use a program called VirtualBox which allows you to run Linux "inside" Windows.

https://www.virtualbox.org/

You can try out as many different Linux distributions as you like with little hassle and see what you think.

Thanks, I'd recommend Ubuntu as a first go as it's pretty user friendly and there is a large user base for it so you should be able to figure out any problems that you may come across. It also allows you to run it as a "live" CD which means you don't have to install it and can just run it off the CD to try it. Let me know if you've any problems getting VirtualBox set up. Smile
