Got a mate of ours into PC gaming a bit so they went into his computer.

What's your budget though?

Oh yeah, what parts do you need or is it a full build from the ground up?

i could scrape something together but it wouldnt be much,ive been looking out for cheap second hand parts that could get me playing stw2 and bc2,i need a motherboard/cpu/memory/gpu or a cheap full pc.id be happy with cheap second hand parts or a good deal new if the price was right,just something to get me by,am still confident i can get a good pc sorted for bf3 but thats months away yet,to long!ill coninue to keep watching ebay and gumtree for cheap bundles.

You should be able to scrape together a Bf3 capable PC for around the £250-300 mark (assuming you have a few spare parts like monitor/dvd drive etc), not going to run it on super settings but it will do. All these damn eejots talking about how you'll need a 580 are talking out their arses.
